The Celtics are huge favorites once again in Game 2, thus making the backup guard attractive once again since he’s essentially operating as the sixth man with Kristaps Porzingis out and Al Horford in the starting lineup. In the event of a blowout (which is very likely), Pritchard should pick up additional minutes (more than the 24 he played in Game 1) as one of the main beneficiaries, which makes him even more appealing. Overall, I like this all the way up to 9.5.

In fact, just one other Mavs player (Luka Doncic) had over 10 rebounding opportunities in that game (Lively had four boards on nine chances in 13 minutes). I think this is a reasonable number for Gafford in Game 2.

He also played 20, 22, 23 and 17 minutes in his four regular-season meetings against this Mavericks team, so it’s clear that Mark Daigneault doesn’t like his individual matchups against Luka Doncic and/or Kyrie Irving. The Thunder played much better with Giddey off the floor and I think there’s a solid chance his minutes get cut even more in Game 2. He posted a -7 plus/minus in Game 1 (the only starter under +15) and Aaron Wiggins (+18 in 23 minutes), Cason Wallace (+13 in 23 minutes) and Isaiah Joe (+12 in 15 minutes) played better than him off the bench. I’ll take under 18.5 points + rebounds + assists for Giddey.
