Astros' Yainer Diaz Over 0.5 HR at Rockies (+210, BetMGM)
This game isn't actually being played in Colorado, and instead will be played in a ballpark that is somehow BETTER for offense than Coors Field. Yes, ladies and gentleman, it is the return of the Mexico City Series. These games are always extremely high-scoring due to how small the ballpark is and the high altitude. Think of it as Coors Field on steroids.
I expect both teams to be launching nukes out of the stadium all game long, so much so that Astros' hitter Yordan Alvarez isn't even listed for a HR prop at the books. He's so likely to hit one today that they won't take action on it. Just incredible. Instead, we'll back his teammate Diaz to take one deep. The catcher packs some serious power in his bat and is hitting .274 in the early going. In this ballpark, he won't even need to hit it as hard as he can to get a homer.
In addition, he gets to face RHP Cal Quantrill on the mound today, as well as a poor Rockies bullpen that I expect to get lit up. More on Quantrill in the next prop.

Astros' Yordan Alvarez Over 0.5 RBI at Rockies (-174, Caesars)
Since we can't back him to hit a home run today, I'll take him to record an RBI at this absolutely insane price of -174 for a unit. You will NEVER see an RBI prop this juiced in an MLB stadium, I promise you that. Alvarez hits in the heart of this lineup, so he should have plenty of opportunities to rack up the RBIs here against Quantrill and the Rockies.
Colorado's starting pitcher has been on the decline for a while now, and this season has been no different. Quantrill owns a 3.98 xERA and 5.20 xFIP, indicating that he is a mediocre pitcher at best. Houston should be able to whip him today, as they own a 106 wRC+ as a lineup vs. right-handed pitching. That's the eighth-best offense against them in the league.

Rays' Yandy Diaz Over 1.5 TB at White Sox (-131, Caesars)
Diaz is questionable to play in this game right now, but sportbooks are listing his props, so it seems that they expect him to play tonight against Chicago. If he doesn't play, this will just get voided and it will be no harm no foul.
He's struggled to start the season, batting just .241 with only a single homer. However, I am very confident that he is going to turn things around at some point here, and perhaps this matchup today with RHP Jonathan Cannon will be the medicine he needs to get things going.
Cannon is a rookie, and this will be his third start in the big leagues. He's had one pretty good game and one terrible game, but this will not be an easy lineup for him to conquer. Tampa Bay owns a 103 wRC+ vs. right-handers, which is ninth-best in the league. Cannon has registered a massive 6.27 xERA in his two starts but does have a solid 3.41 xFIP. It doesn't help him that the White Sox have an awful defense, but I also just don't really think he can perform against an offense like this.
We are on different types of MLB player prop bets every day during the season, so in this pitching prop section you may find strikeout prop bets, earned runs allowed prop bets, total outs recorded bets and more as the season progresses and we gather more data on these pitchers. Rangers RHP Michael Lorenzen Over 4.5 Strikeouts vs. Reds (-165, DraftKings)
Once again, we go 1-1 on strikeout props yesterday, and I would really like another 2-0 sweep like we had on Monday and Tuesday. Corbin Burnes let us down against the Athletics of all teams, as he only recorded 6 Ks when we needed him to have 8. Nevertheless, we move on to another matchup here where the pitcher should have an advantage.
Cincinnati's offense is pretty trash, owning an 82 wRC+ as a lineup vs. right-handed pitching. Not only are they bad against them, but they also are getting punched out on 28.6% of their at-bats, which is the highest strikeout rate in MLB vs. righties.
I think Lorenzen is bound for some serious regression, as he owns a huge 6.47 xERA and 3.94 xFIP in comparison to his 2.45 ERA. However, the Reds are not the offense that is likely to cause that.
Rockies SP Cal Quantrill Under 2.5 Strikeouts vs. Astros (-108, Caesars)
I know this number is extremely low at 2.5, but honestly, he could be pulled before he gets a single strikeout. Playing in Mexico City against this Houston lineup is like a death sentence, and I've already explained the numerous advantages that the Astros will have today.
In addition to all of that, Houston has the lowest strikeout rate in MLB vs. right-handed pitching, getting rung up on only 17.4% of their at-bats.

MLB player props add an exciting layer to baseball betting by letting you wager on individual player performance, not just the game's outcome. Imagine you think a hitter is due for a big night – you can bet on whether they'll have more than a certain number of hits, RBIs (Runs Batted In), or even home runs. Pitchers get in on the action too, with props on strikeouts, walks, or innings pitched. These bets are typically presented in an "Over/Under" format, so you wager on whether the player's stat will be higher (Over) or lower (Under) than the number set by the sportsbook.
Example: You log on to DraftKings Sportsbook and go to an MLB game between the Cubs and White Sox. Scrolling to the player props tab, you'll see all kinds of props for you to bet on in the game. You consult this page and find that you really like a best bet on Luis Robert to get 2+ hits at -110 odds. If Robert is able to get two hits in the game of any kind, you win the bet!
You can place these bets at any sportsbook of your choosing, but we recommend using whatever book gives you the best number. If one book is offering -120, while the other is offering -110 and you want to bet it, always take the -110.

MLB player props, short for "proposition bets," are wagers in baseball that focus on the performance of individual players, separate from the final outcome of the game. Instead of betting on which team wins, you can predict a player's statistical output in various categories.
These bets are usually offered in an "Over/Under" format. You wager on whether a player's stat will be higher (Over) or lower (Under) than the number the sportsbook sets.
The most popular MLB prop bets fall into two categories: hitting and pitching.
For hitters, fans love to chase the thrill of the long ball, making home run props the most popular. You can bet on a player to hit zero, one, or even two or more home runs in a game.
Following closely behind are strikeout props for pitchers. Here, you bet on whether a pitcher will record more (Over) or less (Under) than a specific number of strikeouts during their outing.
